It is not the water in the well that may freeze, it is the water coming up into the pump, and in the pump. These are well above ground. Sometimes a well insulated pump house can be enough, depending on how cold it gets. A heat lamp can be a life saver :wink: plug it into an extension cord and hang it over the pump. The rest is the same as if you had city water.
