Glad to hear I'm not the only one who can start out to organize and end up compelled to start new projects! This goes for pretty much all creative pursuits I engage in, which is quite a list. And I have ADD. However, I can boast that over this winter I did pull out and go through my fabric - all kinds, because I do different things such as make doll clothes in addition to quilting - and about 3 grocery bags full total went to the DAV. Yay me!

I don't know about y'all, but I have been working to overcome a tendency to "feel sorry for" fabric that I end up with from people giving me stuff. I have some hoarder genes in me and I am usually the one who exclaims "Wait! Don't throw that away! I'll take it!" And then it sits for years while I think, "hmmm . . . maybe I could make that work with the right trim" or thoughts like that. Well. I took no prisoners this time. I looked at a fabric and if it was ugly as sin, into the bag it went and buh-bye!
