I heard the same thing for Michigan....ugh! He had the terrible ice storm the Sunday before Christmas that left some people without power for 2 weeks. We were lucky and were only out for about 36 hours and we have a gas burning fireplace that helped some. However, a ton of tree branches came down and did a lot of damage. I have always jokingly said that we would never be cold if the furnace went out since we have so many quilts and fabric....well, we were covered up with 3 quilts each when the power came back on
!!! After we kinda recovered from that, about 2 weeks, we got 17" of snow!!! The kids were happy because they got 3 snow days so it made a long winter break! I am so ready for spring!!!
