Nice machine. As much as I love my Janome 4000, I look back on my first sewing machine, which I swear could sew through leather without blinking an eye, then I got a Kenmore who really preferred sewing on heavier fabric than it did cotton. My first 2 machines were very heavy though as they were made of metal, instead of plastic.
