Is there a fabric store in the area? If so it might be time to start a hand paper pieced hexie project for Grandmother Flower Garden quilt? You could also start a hand embroidery project. How about a Walmart? They have pre-cuts/needles/threads etc. and wool if you can crochet or knit.
