yeah, after my first damaged arrival, i started getting more cautious about what i have shipped. If the person has a clue then I might take the chance, but most folks have no idea how to do it safely.
That is why I did one trip from SF to Los Angeles for a Howe B treadle and a Wheeler Wilson #4 Treadle, one trip to Walla Walla Washington for the Grover & Baker, and One trip up to "gold country" (Sierra Foothills) for the Phoenix F treadle. No way I was having those shipped.
