We did a paint chip challenge last year for our quilt show- people choose their paint chips based on their initials. For example, Mary Ann White could use colors whose name started with M, A, or W. If the person had a maiden name, or two middle names, that could be used as well. They had to use at least two and no more than four colors. The only other colors that were permitted were black and white/natural. Members found their paint chips on their own, and the chips had to be included as part of the submission. It was lots of fun and we got quite a bit of interest.
