I have been making scrappy four patches (2.5inch). At last count there were about 120 or so.All have the same white fabric in them. I have 2 yards of a green on white & 2 yards of a dark green fabric. I want to use these two fabrics for my HST's. Will this work or should my HST's be scrappy as well. It is your quilt, but I would add more different fabrics. I love looking at my scrappy quilts and not seeing a lot of repeats. Maybe swap some fabric with friends. I am making an Ocean Waves that has over a thousand hst. I love triangulations and that makes 20 - 40 of the same combo hst, so I got up a swap. It worked out great. I'm loving this quilt.
