Practice, practice! I LOVE feathers, and I draw them almost every day onto paper, trying out different feather techniques. My first efforts 6-7 years ago were HORRIBLE, but perseverance does pay off, trust me!
This is such an adorable quilt, now I hafta put this pattern in my queue!
