the next things we need to do are:

(1) give our windows a good haircut. trim away all the dangling threads. open up the pouches and pull out any loose threads from inside. (you can skip that part if you use a dark background or a background fabric you can't see through. my sample is done in discount grade muslin, so i went hunting for mine.

(2) stuff the pouches with our batting squares. this is not a traditional step in cathedral windows. i just threw it in because i think it adds a nice look and feel to the finished quilt.

(3) whether you stuffed or not, you want to check now to make sure all your pouches are pressed neatly closed.
