DON'T throw out the baby with the bathwater.!!
Try something else that may just be a little darker than your #7 yellow and NOT such a screamer. I think that is the one that is bothering you. Don't feel bad. I had a too large of print in my Twist & Turn Island Sunset and had to take the one fabric that wasn't working in almost half of the quilt !! I am waiting on two fabrics I order for the Bed Runner in Eileen's new book: MORE Twist & Turn Bargello Quilts. Otherwise, I would also be piecing mine too. Good Luck !!
