You couldn't get me to use a Rowenta if it was given to me free of charge. Those things are so dangerous, seems like every week someone's posting a horror story about a Rowenta arcing, catching fire, burning hands/fabrics/ironing boards, etc.
I have a Reliable Digital Velocity iron that is the best iron I've ever owned. As Dunster said, you can disable the auto-shutoff feature. It has a great steam generator.
