Yes, it can be oiled. That "do not oil the machine" thing started when the manufacturers were cheapening them so they could get the customer back in to sell more services and machines.
I don't know how that machine comes apart, but remove the top and any other covers that come off, then oil any metal part that moves against or in another metal part. Be careful of any plastic parts, oil can cause problems with some of them.
Clean it good while your at it and check the belt(s) too.
