Actually cotton is easier to work with--there is little question in my mind about that, but you can certainly make a quilt out of a 50/50 mix--but it doesn't have the give that all cotton does.
Thanks. I do prefer working with 100% cotton as well, but I wasn't sure if there was a special reason why everyone stressed to be sure the shirts were 100% cotton rather than a cotton blend. I may have to make a trip to the Goodwill store soon to check this out.
