I have several of Eleanor Burns' books and I really like them. The Christmas stocking pattern (think it's Quilts Through the Seasons book) is great. You can make so many different stockings. Also I've had the pleasure of meeting Eleanor and she is a great down to earth person. Her sister Pat is quite an artist too. Pat makes regular visits in the spring and summer at various guild meetings.
