Quilting isn't always easy, and often the recipient isn't aware of the trials and tribulations that went into the quilt. It is nice to have a place to speak of such things and get knowing responses. Maybe it stops us from spilling all those boring details, and getting that 'glazed over' eyes reaction, from the recipient ;-)
