I have a similar situation......with a twist. I am out of town to help with my elderly parents (about 1000 miles from home). My sister took me to a discount fabric store of end of bolts and trim. While looking (I was NOT going to buy anything) I found designer fabrics like Moda, Riley Blake, Robert Kaufman, etc. remnants for $1.99/yd. When I say remnants, some were as much as 7+ yards. I spent $220 and now have no idea how I am going to get all of this home. I even bought space saver bags to "shrink" it and it still won't fit in my suitcase. Not to mention the additional weight!!! Any suggestions??
