If it does turn out to be the timing and you have an issue on the Innova site (
www.innovalongarm.com) they have a tutuorial on timing. Most of the long arms are the same or very similar in this part of the machine. I sent my husband who always had a time getting it just right on my Prodigy over there and he said it was very helpful. It may not help your situation but wanted to throw it out there just in case..
