What size did your half square triangle turn out to be in the original pinwheel block? I'm trying a different method so I don't have bias on the outside edge.

I began with 10in sqs.. sewed the outer to create HST - the HST size i have no idea BUT after i made the pinwheel i trimmed to 12.. so 6.5 HST maybe?? the bias wasn't bad.. i starched.. and starched so it was flat and hard.. lol..
