If it has a machine boss on the pillar a motor can be bolted on. I've see all kinds of ways motors have been tacked on the ones with out bosses. I've seen motors screwed on the the wooden case, motors screwed on the the back plate, screws tapped into the side of the machine. Lots of genus - I'm sure you can figure something out. Why not just treadle it? Some times the treadle isn't working or the cabinet is in bad shape. I have stuck a steering wheel spinner knob on and sewn that way. I know Glenn is probably having a heart attack thinking about my suicide knobs but I'm sure you will figure out a way to use the machine.
