Believe it or not I do not have a separate lamp to use. I have a small desk lamp but it doesn't throw enough light to be able to sew easily. We've always had overhead lights and then I have my small desk light for extra lighting. I don't want to buy a lamp just for this so I'll have to limit my sewing to days. If I had to I could roll my desk to another room but there really isn't room for it anywhere else.
