Took me almost 2 years to finish this one. I can't even remember the name of the pattern now. This one was quilted by hand and it was nice working on it with all of the bright colors since it's been such a miserable, cold, dreary winter. One of the members here, Patti, made the beautiful label for me. Thank you, Patti!!
Chanauke was my cat who loved to help me when I was piecing or quilting. He'd lay next to my machine and keep a watchful eye on me making sure everything was done just right. For some reason he loved to lay on this particular quilt so I finished it in his memory. I had to say goodbye to my friend March 18, 2013 so finishing this one was bitter sweet.
