I would stitch in the directions of the large pieced triangle. Here is the center of a quilt that shows you the directions of the quilt lines. I would measure the width between the HST piecing and see what number it is divisible by. The quilting would enhanced with the lines being in the same direction as the large pieced HST. Good Luck.
