I use Elmers washable school glue in a thin stream straight from the bottle in a grid pattern, on the batting first, smooth out, let dry, move to do other sections, and let dry, then flip over and repeat with top. Ironed once when I was in a hurry. Worked fine. Now I am not in a hurry. I've done about 6 this way and couldn't be more pleased with the results.
