You have done a gorgeous job! I love the colors, depth and layout, and agree that slightly curved lines could really make it pop. I would make another block for practice, sandwich it and try some gentle curves. As to your problem with it sticking, have you tried rolling up the edges where you aren't quilting, and unrolling as you go. You can even safety pin elastic loops on the rolled portion to put over your arms to help you move the quilt. I can't wait to see the finished project! Happy quilting!
