P.S. to my reply above. I told my husband what I'd written and he said "What about the runner?". Completely forgot - I made two runners from MSQ's Friendship Braid Runner tutorial. I did one in random batiks with forest green borders, the other in fruit & vegetable fabrics, each row using the same fabric right side and left side. I'm very happy with both. Easy and fun to do. Next I'm going to make some with Christmas fabrics. It's been too cold and icy to go out very often (DH uses a transport chair or a walker) and I'm happy there's something I love to do which makes staying in just fine with me and he has his sports and financial channels to keep him out of trouble.
