Someone on Kansas City CL had SM parts for free. I need a replacement foot control for my FW, the one I have is wearing out and not shutting off current. There were several SM foot pedals in the photos on the CL ad so I dutifully sent in the email and picked up a pile of parts today. Once I untangled all the pieces I realized that I'm pretty sure I can't use the pedal I wanted as a replacement.
That's all another thread but in the meantime, I have 14 new foot controls, two motors, several clip on presser feet and a manual for two machines I don't own. None of the foot control plugs I have are usable for my machines. If I can get one of the controls to replace the one I need then it will be worth it. Also, if anyone needs any foot controls, feel free to drop me a line.
