Rodney if you have don't many hst this is what I do: if it says cut it at 3" then cut in half to make two triangles.. I cut it at 3.18 so there is a smidgeon more room when you sew it back together with another half square.. and THEN I put the omnigrid over the top and make sure its the right size and trim off what is not needed so its a perfect 2.5" square when done. I suck at making perfect hst' squares so a bit more is safer


Today I cut all the pieces I need for the next round! took a couple pictures so when the first comes I will have a simple photo journal for you to follow should you chose to . Its a fun round, not terrifically hard and if your not using scraps should go pretty fast. If your scrappy like me it takes a bit more time but worth it. I am so excited to get going early so I will positively have it ready. no rushing!!! yahoo!!!! I spend more time coming up with ideas than I do sewing sometimes lol.
