I did not know the name of these, but I took have used them for gift "bag" box.
For project storage I use the Iris containers from Joann's they are all labeled with fabric, notes, pattern and special ruler etc...and I also date them. I have the largest one with all my Dear Jane blocks, triangles and corners. Opps -- date on that one is 2008.
