How big are you making the Queen size quilt (no regulation since it depends on the drop)? Figure that 3.5 yds would be 126 x 90 inches. If your quilt was no more than about 80-82" x 114-116(to allow the long armer to have the extra needed to load onto the frame) you'd be fine for the machine quilting. I think you'd be ok for a little bigger quilt if you are handquilting,but not being a handquilting I'm not as sure.
