Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers, they mean a lot to me! My mom had a good day today. She was able to sleep the whole night while in the hospice and ate all of her breakfast (she hardly slept at all for 2 weeks while in the hospital since the staff kept coming to poke her, run tests, give treatments, check vitals, etc). She had a good day. We are all spending time with her and taking it one day at a time until God comes to take her home.
Aussie: you lost both parents on the same day???? I cannot even imagine how hard that must have been for you! At least they went to the pearly gates together.
