I use empty coffee cans ( the large size) to raise my cutting table . Also use them under my kitchen table ( with the leaf put in ) for making the sandwich, I can do a king size without problem and it saves my back. The cans put the table at about counter height.

Another way to raise a table are the plastic bed risers.
Two under a banquet table brings it to about the same height as your purchased table.
Or one, for a little lower.
