Amazing to see the SewGrands--just a year ago we were praying they would survive.
GGal--very nice patriotic quilt. anxious to see it when you get it done.
QE notice how modern graphics have slipped in with the geranium fabrics and a touch of gray as well.
I spent the afternoon with church sewing circle helping with the "utilitarian" quilts we make for various causes. Put together 2 "layettes" for social services--includes 6 cloth diapers, plastic pants, pins, t shirts/onesies, 2 receiving blankets, bib and a 36 x 36 tied quilt. We tied over a half dozen baby quilts and a couple of lap quilts. A while ago we gave 5 tied quilts to the local fire dept for families affected by fire. They were happy to see them as they had none on hand. The fabrics are donated so we try to make them as pretty as possible. I brought home three to finish off the edges--so back to the machine.
