How wonderful to want to learn something new at her age. Come to think, I am only a few years behind her and still very active although I learned to quilt several years ago. Learned to appreciate sewing from my Mother at 9 on a treadle machine, taught my daughter at her early age, bought her her first machine when she was 8 which carried her all the way through nursing school. My interest in quilting came from my grandmother for which I am so thankful.
