I did. I specialize in Gauntlets, but I have a track record of making nice helmets (although I strongly dislike making them)
That particular helmet was made because the buyer had just become "Prince" in our local SCA group and one of his first "commands" was "now that I am Prince of the Mists, I would very much like for you to construct me a helm..." Ahh well. The faces are interchangeable, and the "grill" version is made out of 1/4" bar stock cut/filed and welded. The "coronet of 16ga brass was etched using radio shack PCB etching compound and Sharpy as a resist...
