Day of the Dead Project
Last year a challenge was issued in my guild: make an art quilt with Day of the Dead as the theme. It was so much fun we decided to make it an annual project. If I can figure out how to upload photos from my Dropbox app on my iPad, I will share photos of last years quilts. I am already working on this years project and have made a couple of prototypes. I like these a lot, it allows me to use my brightest and best threads. These are embroidered on my Janome MC 9500, an older model, like me. I use them to practice my FMQ. Small projects are so easy to practice on.
