Good morning! Well, I tried binding a few scallops on my string quilt. I did use double thickness binding, on the bias, 2-1/2", folded in half. It looks like it will fold over easily and will not be too bulky. However, I had a problem with puckering/bunching around the edges. I think that I stretched the binding a little too much when I was attaching it. So, I'm pulling it off and reattaching it with a little more gentle touch. Sorry, no pix today. My battery died.
I hope to get the binding sewn on this weekend and then hand sew it down over the week.
