Fusible batting
I have a lap sized quilt top and I am planning on using Fairfield Fusi-boo fusible batting to make my quilt sandwich. I know most people don't like using fusible batting for big projects like this but I wanted to try it. I am either going to make my quilt sandwich on my kitchen table (stone) or my ceramic tile floor. I want to slip something under the sandwich to protect my table or floor but I don't really know what, I feel like even picking it up to slide my ironing board underneath will create puckers. Any ideas?
