I have an old carpet in the basement that I can iron my Hobbs 80/20 fusible batt sandwich on. Do you live near an appliance store that will let you have a refrigerator box? I have used the cardboard 4x4 sheets of cardboard that come between the paper towels or toilet tissue at Walmart for ironing smaller sandwiches.
