Thanks for another good video! I totally agree with you on the "moving the pen" vs. "moving the paper". I thought I must be crazy to be the only one I know that can't agree with practicing with pen and paper. I think that is a great technique though if a person was using a longarm.
I just recently took my midarm machine OFF my frame as I was finding the frame very restrictive due to the small working area ( My machine only has a 10 inch throat ). And even on the frame, the movement of your hands is nothing like a pen on paper, since you are using your arms to move the machine, not your hand, I could not even get the theory of practicing on paper for that !
