One of my on-again, off-again hobbies is making scale dollhouse miniatures. I haven't done anything like that in a number of years, but I still read newsletters related to it, and today I happened to see a dollhouse that just blows me away - it's 3rd place in a contest, and I can't imagine what 1st and 2nd are going to be like, but will check those out after I get through gawking at this one. I thought that all you creative people on this board would also enjoy having a look, so here it is (I don't know the person who made it, Betty Taft.):

Edited to add that this is 1:12 scale, meaning one inch = a real life foot. The contest required the builders to start with a particular kit house, which in this case is the main body of the tree house. The large part of the tree started with a plastic coffee container wrapped in newspaper and coated with drywall mud. Isn't it just grand!
