I've washed dozens of queen and king sized quilts in my washer without ever having a problem. Today there was a horrid screeching sound and I rushed in to find this mess. It was my newly completed Celtic Solstice. At least the worst of it is on the back. Now, I'm working on a brilliant plan to save it. Some kind of applique I suppose would work best, but I'm open to ideas.
