Where did you ever find a flannel print that looks like giraffe? And that baby animal print is perfect. Love how you fussy cut out animals to go in the border. All the details you put in this quilt make it extra special.
Thank you! Yes, forgot to mention hand quilting the expression and brow line, and embroidered the eyes. The flannel was from a series called "Jungle Babies" designed by Patty Reed; I found at Joanns but had to go to several stores to get what I needed, they may be phasing out? not sure; tiger print for borders also from that series; I noticed Walmart carries a line of it but in different color tones. I also found the panel print showing large animals that Bonnie got the idea from and I am just going to starch it stiffly so it can be hung on the wall for baby to see. It is adorable!
