thats the reason for having 1 week off every 6 weeks.

this way you can just make the block and move on, even if you don't like it, because you have that week off period to revisit the blocks.

i find that if you put some distance between you and the bad block, like a few weeks, you realize it isn't that bad and you don't feel the need to make it again.

at least thats the way it is for me, i can't tell you how many quilts i've wanted to set on fire and then 2 months later i love them because the mistakes really weren't that bad.

i know for sure DH has saved 3 quilts from the fireplace.
