I wanted to add that the adapter came with my Bernina, which I bought used. I checked the list of available feet for that model and Bernina did, indeed, make this adapter. Whether they still do for newer models, I don't know, but they did not - at least in those days - object to people using low-shank feet. The only concerns that anyone might have would be to see that the feet you select meet up nicely with the feed dogs, attach securely and of course, allow the needle to function without any obstruction. Do all that before you power up, and you should be fine.
