The price doesn't sound too bad. The sewing space between feed dogs gives you 9mm width (I believe) and the lower numbered machine give you 7 mm. If you don't have much interest in embroidery or decorative stitches, the 7 mm should do you. The table only runs a little over $100.00 so it's not too painful to buy it extra.
