I TOO always use the Clover slim line chalk (wheel with powdered chalk) on dark colors. I TOO did get burned with their blue chalk, it does NOT come off!! Usually, on light fabric, I marked as I quilted with a purple be gone. Never had a problem, but they are only good for a VERY SHORT limited time !! If anyone uses any pencil, be SURE TO TEST IT on a scrap of the same fabric and MAKE SURE IT COMES OFF EASILY !!
