I have considered several different ways to mark. They mostly involve pens where you use some way to get rid of the lines when you are done stitching. I worry that in twenty years time, the chemicals in these pens may do something to the fabric, so I have decided to just stick with ordinary chalk. It comes off easily and it is cheap.
