Embroidered Blocks Quilt
My husband bought me an embroidery machine and these are the first blocks I did. This was given as the shower gift to my DDIL. Her and my son absolutely love it. This was so much fun to make. Was going through my stash to find some backing and found this flannel that worked out perfectly. You will see in the pic that the bottom part of the binding isn't done yet, left it open to add the label on the back once he was born. They wouldn't tell anyone what his name was going to be, which was fine. This way I was able to put all his birth date info on it. Born 11-21-13, 8 lbs 21", and his name is Oliver.
