Two color quilts are my favorites, and I am going to attach 3 pictures, in case any of them might work for you.
The first is an alternating rail fence and 9 patch set on point. The second is called Double Slice Layer Cake (video from Missouri Star) made from a layer cake (obviously) and the third is a Warm Wishes.
